Job summary

HeiTech Services in Ann Arbor, MI, seeks a senior IT customer-support specialist to deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain laptops, workstations, peripherals, software, and user access for end users.

You will manage Microsoft Active Directory and Google Workspace accounts, patch systems with Webmin, apt, IBM BigFix, Windows Update, and PDQ Deploy, and resolve hardware and A/V issues in a timely, compliant manner.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and supporting Google Workspace.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory user accounts.
• Experience updating Linux OS with Webmin and apt.
• Experience patching Windows and apps with Windows Update, PDQ Deploy/Inventory, and IBM BigFix.
• Experience installing Microsoft Office apps.
• Experience troubleshooting basic Audio/Video equipment.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain clearance.
• Ability to work without Government-provided training.

Responsibilities

• Physically deploy new workstations and laptops and verify they function.
• Add, delete, modify user accounts in Active Directory.
• Manage NOAA Gmail accounts and Google Groups.
• Patch Linux servers/workstations using Webmin/apt.
• Patch Windows/macOS apps with IBM BigFix and PDQ.
• Troubleshoot A/V issues and assist with meeting scheduling.
• Prepare monthly audit, patching, and progress reports.
• Maintain government property listing and travel logs as needed.
