Job summary

MACOM, a global leader in semiconductor solutions, is seeking an IT Support Administrator to join our Lowell, MA team. You will provide Tier 1–2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and business applications, delivering timely remediation and quality user experiences.

Responsibilities include imaging and provisioning devices, managing ITSM tickets, supporting Microsoft 365, and assisting with onboarding, relocations, and asset lifecycle. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in IT support or help desk.
• Experience with Windows 11 and macOS.
• Experience with endpoint imaging and management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 desktop and device support.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking incidents.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technical teams.
• Configure and maintain endpoint devices using imaging/provisioning.
• Document work in the ITSM ticketing system and meet SLAs.
• Deliver remote support to employees across U.S. and international offices.
• Support Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.
• Assist with onboarding, relocations, and asset lifecycle.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and KBs.
• Train end users on supported technologies and best practices.
• Manage lifecycle of IT assets including procurement and disposal.
• Partner with vendors to support IT infrastructure.
