Job summary
Mobiz Inc. seeks a dependable Level 1 IT Support Engineer to provide on-site technical support at a client facility in Houston. You will resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues, assist with workstation rollouts, and maintain asset records.
The role bridges remote IT support with engineering teams and requires strong customer-service skills. Candidates should have 3+ years of desktop support experience, proficiency in Windows 10/11 and macOS, MS 365, and familiarity with ITSM and
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; IT degree preferred.
- 3+ years in help desk/desktop support or Level 1 IT field support.
- Experience in on-site, multi-site environments; manufacturing a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass site safety checks.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware including PCs, printers, scanners.
- Install/ configure Windows and macOS, and business apps.
- Deploy workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity (wired/wireless).
- Document assets and support activity.
- Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3.
- Maintain on-site customer service professionalism.
