Job summary

NSC Global is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide dedicated on-site support in a GMP manufacturing environment. The role ensures availability and performance of workplace tech, production-supporting systems, network connectivity, and critical peripherals on the manufacturing floor.

You will resolve hardware and software issues, manage AD, and support printers and barcode scanners, coordinating with infrastructure and remote teams while adhering to site procedures and regulatory

Qualifications

• End-user computing and desktop support in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with Windows OS, desktop hardware, and Microsoft 365.
• AD user accounts and permissions administration.
• Familiar with ITSM ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
• Understanding of LAN, WAN, and wireless networking concepts.
• Experience with printers and manufacturing peripherals (Zebra, Datamax, barcode scanners).
• IT asset management and hardware lifecycle knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide deskside and walk-up support for Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and user issues.
• Manage incidents and service requests via ITSM platforms.
• Perform Active Directory onboarding, offboarding, password resets, access provisioning, and group management.
• Deliver IT support in GMP-controlled manufacturing environments complying with site procedures.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity including cabling and WLAN.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printers.
• Support Zebra and Datamax label printers and related processes.
• Support barcode scanners and other production peripherals.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, application, and remote teams to resolve escalations.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and lifecycle management.
• Document support activities and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
