Job summary

Last Energy is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to support day-to-day IT needs at a fast-growing, DOE-regulated nuclear startup. You’ll handle user support, onboarding, and device provisioning while collaborating closely with a lean IT team in a compliance-driven environment.

The role extends beyond traditional helpdesk tasks and may involve duties usually handled by Systems Administrators or Security Analysts as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of hands-on IT support/helpdesk experience with strong troubleshooting instincts.
• Demonstrated ability to self-teach and research independently, using AI tools as an aid.
• Must be on-site 5 days a week and able to work in a compliance-driven, nuclear startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for day-to-day IT support tickets and troubleshoot before escalation.
• Own onboarding and device lifecycle including account provisioning and inventory tracking.
• Administer user accounts, access, and endpoint compliance across Google Workspace and devices.
• Document recurring issues and contribute to internal knowledge base.
