Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced IT Site Lead to manage Field Services, Desktop Support, Help Desk and cyber support for the Air Force National Capital Region IT Services program at Joint Base Andrews. You will lead a team of 50+ professionals, manage a multi‑million dollar budget, and ensure on-time delivery and top-tier service to thousands of military and civilian users.

You will collaborate with Chiefs of Operations, provide weekly mission briefs, and drive continuous improvements, ensuring

Qualifications

BA/BS in IT or related field with 8+ years of experience, or Masters with 6+ years
10+ years of IT operations support experience
5+ years supervising or leading teams or projects
U.S. DoW Secret clearance
Experience in IT support in a DoD environment
Ability to analyze data and brief senior decision-makers
Experience managing direct reports
8140 compliant education, training, or certification within 90 days (e.g., Security+, CISSP, Cyber 101)
On-site work at Joint Base Andrews (JBA) required

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Site Lead and POC for the 744CS Commander/Director of Operations
Oversee Walk-up Help Desk, Desktop Support, Executive Support and mobile services
Manage a multi-million dollar budget and portfolio, with hundreds of assets and tickets
Direct a mid-sized team with hiring/promotion decisions and performance reviews
Brief leadership on operations updates and mission accomplishments
Develop plans for annual technical refresh and continuity of operations
Coordinate with Cyber Support Center for incident response and updates
