Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Operations Manager for Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC, to organize and lead IT field services, desktop support, and change management for AFNCR mission customers. You will coordinate with site leadership, ensure metrics, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires senior-level experience in IT operations, DoD environments, and on-site work, with an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

BA/BS or equivalent experience; 12+ years or master’s with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Active DoD Secret clearance required.
Advanced knowledge of desktop support and helpdesk principles.
IT support team lead experience / ability to lead teams in a DoD environment.
8140 compliant education, training, or certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP)

Responsibilities

Delivers IT operations and field services for JBAB and AFNCR mission partners.
Oversees field services, ticketing, and VOIP, ensuring timely and effective support.
Directs personnel to meet program requirements and KPIs.
Participates in weekly leadership briefs and informs stakeholders on progress.
Leads process improvements and annual/technical refresh plans for ~400 workstations.
Acts as Site Lead when required and coordinates with broader program teams.
