Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Operations Manager to lead IT operations and field services at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) for AFNCR missions. The role emphasizes coordinating with military and civilian teams, maintaining service quality, and driving continuous improvement on site.

The candidate will manage priorities, staffing, and performance, ensuring timely, compliant delivery of IT support and mission-critical services in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience with 12+ years of relevant work, or a Master’s with 10+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required or clearable.
• 8140 compliant education, training, or certifications (Security+, CISSP, Cyber 101, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead IT operations and field services for JBAB and AFNCR missions.
• Manage day-to-day task assignments, priorities, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with the 794th Communications Squadron and other stakeholders to ensure mission success.
• Provide input on hiring, promotions, and performance decisions.
• Oversee the annual technical refresh of workstations and continuity plans.
