Job summary

Big Valley Ford is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to serve as the primary on-site IT support presence at our Stockton, CA location. You will handle Level 1 and 2 requests, troubleshoot hardware and software, replace and configure computers, and escalate complex issues to the systems admin team.

The role requires strong communication, independence, and accountability to align with our broader IT team goals.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of IT Service Desk or technical support experience or equivalent training.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business apps.
• Experience with basic networking, printer setup, and hardware support.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support for employees at the Stockton location.
• Handle Level 1 and Level 2 requests, hardware/software troubleshooting, network issues, and account access.
• Manage computer replacements, setups, and configurations for users.
• Document issues and resolutions in the IT ticketing system and follow up as needed.
• Collaborate with the IT team to maintain security standards and IT operations.
