Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries, based in Northern California, is seeking a Help Desk/PC Technician for our Anderson office. You will support IT operations nationwide, troubleshoot by phone, and provide top-tier user assistance across PCs, mobile devices, and network systems.

Applicants should have a year of business IT experience; CCNA or A+ is a plus. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving in a non-remote environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of computer and/or network problem‑solving experience in a business environment.
• CCNA and/or A+ certifications or equivalent education is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of Windows Desktop, Server operating systems, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.
• Basic understanding of firewall rules, antivirus software and other desktop security products.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively support company IT operations throughout U.S. utilizing strong PC and network knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues by phone.
• Identify problems, research answers, and guide users through corrective steps.
• Build, diagnose, and repair PCs, laptops, cell phones, tablets, and printers.
• Monitor file, device sharing, and permissions; troubleshoot network and Wi‑Fi issues.
• Install and support Microsoft, IBM i, and other business software and licensing.
• iOS and Android activation, email configuration, MFA enrollment, and basic troubleshooting.
