Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to deploy and support enterprise-wide systems across offices, manufacturing, and distribution centers.

You will provide end-user support and partner with Worldwide Service Desk initiatives in a global environment. The role offers on-site work at Fernley, NV, with hands-on desktop, hardware, and software support; you will work with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and a variety of devices.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in an enterprise help desk setting preferred.
• Knowledge of modern computer hardware, wired/wireless networking, handheld scanners, IP phones, printers, peripherals.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
• Experience configuring/maintaining laptops/desktops in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and with remote peers.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Manual dexterity and ability to lift >40 pounds.
• Work in warehouse, office, and manufacturing environments.
• Not eligible for sponsorship.
• Former employees eligible for rehire; current employees in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize daily work based on Worldwide Service Desk issues.
• Record tickets and track time in ServiceNow.
• Provide rapid-response tech support for users at various locations.
• Support laptops, desktops, handheld scanners, printers, and other devices.
• Support Windows, Microsoft Office, and other software packages.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user objects.
• Provide local hands-on support to Tier 3 IT teams.
• Maintain computer refreshes and equipment setups.
• Create documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in after-hours on-call support.
