Job summary

The George E. Booth Co., LLC is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician for an in-person role in Greenwood, IN. The successful candidate will support day-to-day technical needs across hardware and software and interface with staff at all levels.

Strong ERP software knowledge and excellent communication are essential, with a focus on accuracy and efficient problem solving. This full-time position offers standard office work hours, with occasional evening or weekend duties as required.

Qualifications

• ERP software knowledge required.
• Ability to interface with individuals at all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of computer systems.
• Assist users with hardware and software issues, including printing and OS installation.
• Set up equipment for employees and ensure proper installation of cables and software.
• Diagnose issues by reviewing manuals, talking with users, and testing systems.
• Answer inquiries regarding software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Install hardware/software and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to determine requirements for new systems or modifications.
• Execute commands and monitor systems to verify correct operations and identify errors.
• Maintain records of data communications, issues, and remediation activities.
• Develop training materials and train users on hardware or software usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
