Job summary

bdManagedIT, a Madison, GA-based Managed IT Services Provider, is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician for an onsite, full-time role. You will troubleshoot Windows and Microsoft 365, manage tickets, and follow established processes to deliver reliable client support.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of hands-on IT help desk experience and strong communication skills. Paid training time each month, certification support, and mentorship from experienced technicians are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on IT help desk or technical support experience in a Windows environment.
• Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ticketing, PSA, or remote support tools.
• Ability to resolve common Level 1 issues with limited direction.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Genuine curiosity about technology and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local client sites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to phone, chat, and ticket requests from clients.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, printer, password, connectivity, and common desktop issues.
• Take ownership of tickets and communicate status to clients.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate tickets per SLA and defined processes.
• Maintain ticket flow and coordinate tickets for teammates.
• Perform routine health checks, patch reviews, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and contribute to documentation and repeatable processes.
