Job summary

Nomad Technology Group is seeking an on-site Help Desk specialist in Evansville, IN. You will respond to tickets and calls, diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, and escalate complex problems to senior staff.

The role requires setup of workstations and peripherals and assisting users with applications, passwords, and access requests. You will document solutions, maintain records in the ticketing system, and contribute to knowledge base articles while collaborating with other IT staff

Qualifications

• Core IT knowledge across operating systems, apps and hardware.
• Network administration skills including basic configuration and monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software and connectivity.
• Network security awareness and safe access practices.
• Excellent customer service with clear communication.
• Bonus: experience with help desk/ticketing systems and IT certs (A+, Network+).
• Ability to work on-site in Evansville, IN and document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support tickets and phone calls, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
