Collabera in Evansville, IN is seeking a Desktop Support Technician II for a 6-month contract to provide first-line IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure workstation readiness for end users.

Responsibilities include remote and on-site assistance, imaging devices, installing software, coordinating device-exchange with users, documenting incidents in ServiceNow, and assisting with SCCM deployments.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
• Experience with Windows 10 and MS 365 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and diagnose LAN/WAN issues.
• Install, configure, and upgrade PC software and operating systems (Windows 10, MS 365).
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems and peripherals (printers, scanners, video conf).
• Record incidents and resolutions in logs or ServiceNow and track inventory of equipment.
• Follow up with users to ensure functionality and coordinate escalations with IT staff.
