Job summary

Bit By Bit is a New Jersey–based on-site IT services provider seeking a Level 2 Field Technician to install, troubleshoot, and support client systems. You will work directly with customers on-site, manage tickets from start to finish, and collaborate with the technical team while on-call.

This hourly role covers Northern New Jersey, with occasional after-hours work. Applicants should have 3–5 years of MSP experience, strong problem-solving, and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT support experience, including field service.
• Experience with MSP environments is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills are essential.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
• Certifications (Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, Cisco, VMware) are assets.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations and perform onsite installations and troubleshooting.
• Own tickets from start to finish and escalate when appropriate.
• Provide onsite support for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
• Assist with virtualization environments (VMware Horizon, Citrix, or similar).
• Document services and maintain procedures in IT Glue; follow SOPs.
