Job summary

KJ Technology, a Metro New York IT support leader, seeks an IT Field Support Technician II to handle Level 1 & 2 requests across NYC client sites. You will deliver structured on-site and remote support, document processes, and grow technical expertise within a People-First MSP culture.

The role emphasizes proactive problem resolution, collaboration with senior engineers, and deployment work in a lab setting. On-site NYC work is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with an MSP.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft Azure Administration, or Microsoft 365 Administration are preferred.
• Willingness to learn AI tools and automation for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Level 1 & 2 requests, incidents, and problems and own resolution.
• Perform MACD changes per documented standards and procedures.
• Use ITSM tools to access information and document actions.
• Communicate updates clearly to requestors and management.
• Configure desktops and laptops per client needs; support on-site and remote services.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and engineers to ensure timely resolutions.
• Support PC deployments in the internal lab as part of deployment team.
• Develop plans with management to enhance skills and customer experiences.
