Job summary

Ford Office Technologies is seeking an IT Field Support Technician for 100% on-site work at the client site in Canonsburg, PA. The role handles first-line remote or on-site tech support for hardware, software, and operating systems in a professional environment.

You will diagnose problems using basic troubleshooting rules, develop checklists for common issues, and assist with new application rollouts while maintaining strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in IT or related field is required.
• Minimum of 1 year working in a professional helpdesk environment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, and other network protocols preferred.
• Basic understanding of networks, PC support, and troubleshooting hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Set up new user accounts and profiles, handle password issues, and support roll-out of new applications.
• Answer basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, and usage of network devices.
• Communicate with teammates/customers and escalate complex problems when needed.
• Prioritize and manage multiple open cases, maintaining records in the ticketing system.
• Work on assigned projects as needed.
