Job summary

Ford Office Technologies is seeking a Dedicated Client Technician to provide on-site hardware, software and network support for clients. The role emphasizes independent work, strong customer service, and effective communication in a professional office environment.

You will assist with user accounts, printer and scanner repairs, Chromebook setup, Google Suite, and basic server knowledge while managing multiple open tickets and collaborating with the team to ensure timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a technical school.
• 1–3 years in a professional helpdesk environment.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP and network knowledge.
• Basic networking, PC support, hardware/software troubleshooting.
• CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and client programs.
• Able to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.
• Efficient multitasking and teamwork skills.
• Clean driving record and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Set up new user accounts and profiles and handle any password issues.
• Support the training and roll-out of new applications.
• Experience fixing printers and scanners.
• Ability to set up and work with smart boards.
• Basic knowledge of working with a server and networking.
• Chromebook repair.
• Utilize Google Suite.
• Answers basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of network connected devices.
• Rectify customer issues promptly.
• Provide excellent communication when working with customer and team members.
• Escalate complex problems when required.
• Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time by maintaining files and records that are needed to track client issues entered into the ticketing database system.
• Working on assigned projects on an as needed basis.
