Job summary

nFocus Solutions is seeking a Desktop and IT support technician to work on site at Fort Leavenworth, maintaining IT assets for a large organization. The role reports to the Army customer and local Program Manager, focusing on desktop software, hardware, and peripherals within a Government network.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware/software issues, patch management, and ensuring compliance with Army policies, plus producing weekly and monthly planning/status reports.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT infrastructure operation and maintenance.
• 1 year of desktop administration managing images, security patches, backup/recovery, account access, software installation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain desktop IT software, hardware, peripherals and infrastructure for a large government organization on Government network.
• Operate, support, and maintain phone and video teleconference equipment.
• Monitor systems to ensure compliance with Army policies and procedures.
• Assist users in troubleshooting various hardware and software issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning and status reports.
