Job summary

Dunhill Professional Search & Government Solutions is seeking a Field Office Technician, Junior - Secret Clearance, to provide on-site IT support in Kansas City, MO. You will diagnose and repair basic PC hardware/software, document incidents, and assist users in a federal IT environment.

This role requires a High school diploma, 1-2 years of technical support, and a current Secret clearance with Security+ certification, with travel up to 10% and no telework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of technical support experience.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and peripherals.
• Ability to follow installation, configuration and escalation procedures.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Current Secret security clearance.
• Security+ certification.
• On-site work in Kansas City, MO with up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, modify and repair basic PC hardware, software and peripherals.
• Provide on-site support to field-office users by phone, email and in person.
• Diagnose common hardware and software problems and implement fixes.
• Set up equipment for employee use with approved components.
• Keep accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate support, supervisor or vendor.
• Collaborate with IT team to improve field-office support and service.
• Maintain current knowledge of hardware, software and procedures.
