Job summary

nFocus Solutions seeks a Desktop and IT support technician to work on site at Fort Leavenworth, supporting a large government client with desktop, software, hardware and videoconference equipment.

The role requires a US citizenship, a DoD 8570.01-M IA Level II certification, Security+ and a secret clearance; candidates should have at least one year of IT infrastructure operation and desktop administration experience and be able to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and able to work on a military installation
• One year of IT infrastructure operation and one year of desktop administration experience required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain desktop IT software, hardware, peripherals and infrastructure for a large government organization on Government network
• Operate, support, and maintain phone and video teleconference equipment
• Monitor systems to ensure compliance with Army policies and procedures
• Assist users in troubleshooting various hardware and software issues
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning and status reports

Education

Secret Clearance

IA Technical Level II per DoD 8570.01-M (CE/OS Windows 7/10 or higher)

Security+ Certification

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
