Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in network and data center support.
• Familiarity with VLANs, switches, and routers (Cisco preferred).
• Basic Avaya VOIP configuration knowledge.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware in a data center, including UPS/PDU health.
• Understanding of monitoring tools and ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Ability to communicate clearly with remote technical teams.
• Experience in SLA-based environments.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and UNIX/Linux basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for networking and data center operations.
• Troubleshoot switches, routers, and fiber links; coordinate with remote teams.
• Monitor systems using Solarwinds and similar tools; report issues.
• Assist network and data center admins during troubleshooting.
• Patch ports, assign VLANs, and manage basic device configurations.
• Support backups using EMC Avamar and Data Domain as needed.
• Perform periodic checks of IDF rooms for cooling and power status.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve issues.
