Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Field Service Technician - IT Cooling to install, service and troubleshoot advanced IT cooling products and electro-mechanical equipment at customer sites.

You will perform start-up services, preventive and remedial maintenance, and on-site repairs, while documenting all visits and coordinating with internal teams and partners. A valid driver's license and EPA 608 certification are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 certification is required.
• Associate degree or equivalent in HVAC, Electrical, or electronics.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC or refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical docs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license for travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver On-Site Service: start-up, preventive and remedial maintenance, field modifications, and testing of IT Cooling and electro-mechanical equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot & Repair: identify issues in refrigeration and electro-mechanical systems using schematics, drawings, and testing tools; complete repairs or component replacements as needed.
• Refrigeration System Work: leak detection, reclamation, evacuation, and charging of R410A systems.
• Diagnose Electrical Systems: troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical and control systems to restore functionality and performance.
• Support Customers: provide technical support to internal teams, third-party service partners, and end users.
• Keep Clear Records: maintain detailed documentation of all service visits, repairs, and installations.
