Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician - IT Cooling to provide on-site service, start-up, maintenance and testing of IT cooling equipment at customer locations in the United States.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of refrigeration systems and electro-mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance for mission-critical cooling for customers. You will diagnose electrical and control systems, perform repairs or replacements, and maintain

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, electrical, electronics or related field with 2–5 years of experience troubleshooting HVAC or refrigeration systems.
• EPA Section 608 certification is required.
• Proficiency with mechanical and electronic test equipment and the ability to read schematics/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site startup, preventative and remedial maintenance for IT cooling products and equipment.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration and electro-mechanical systems and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
• Handle refrigerant tasks including leak detection, reclamation, evacuation and R410A charging.
• Diagnose HVAC electrical and control systems to restore performance.
• Maintain detailed service visit records and assist with project collaboration.
