Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician - IT Cooling to provide on-site service and support for advanced IT cooling systems and electro-mechanical equipment.

You will perform start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs at customer locations, ensuring peak performance of mission-critical cooling solutions. The role requires 2–5 years of HVAC or refrigeration experience, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to read schematics and use test equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics or related field with 2–5 years of troubleshooting experience.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Proficient with mechanical and electronic test equipment; ability to read schematics and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site service including start-up, preventative and remedial maintenance, field modifications and testing at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and electro-mechanical systems; perform leak detection, reclamation, evacuation and charging of R410A systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC electrical and control systems to restore functionality.
• Provide technical support to internal teams, third-party partners and end users.
• Maintain detailed documentation of service visits, repairs and installations.
