Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician - IT Cooling to support and maintain advanced IT cooling products and electro-mechanical equipment. In this hands-on role you'll perform on-site service, start-up, preventive and remedial maintenance at customer locations.

You will troubleshoot refrigeration and electrical systems, handle R410A refrigerants, read schematics, and collaborate with customers and partners while keeping detailed records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or related field with 2–5 years of troubleshooting/repair experience.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license for travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site service including start-up, preventative and remedial maintenance, field modifications, and testing at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and electro-mechanical systems using schematics and test tools.
• Perform refrigerant-related tasks for R410A systems (leak detection, reclamation, evacuation, charging).
• Diagnose and repair HVAC electrical and control systems.
• Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
• Provide technical support to internal teams, third-party partners, and customers.
