Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician - IT Cooling to service and maintain IT cooling products and electro-mechanical equipment at customer sites.

You will perform start-up, preventive and remedial maintenance, and repairs, while troubleshooting complex refrigeration systems and electrical controls to ensure peak performance of mission-critical cooling solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics or related field; 2–5 years troubleshooting HVAC or refrigeration systems.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Strong ability to read schematics, blueprints and technical docs.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site start-up, preventive and remedial maintenance at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and electro-mechanical systems.
• Handle refrigerant tasks: leak detection, reclamation, evacuation and charging.
• Troubleshoot HVAC electrical/control systems to restore function.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and third parties.
