Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician - IT Cooling to perform on-site service and repair of IT cooling and related electro-mechanical equipment at customer sites.

You will troubleshoot refrigeration and electrical systems, execute refrigerant tasks, and document all activities. The role requires an associate degree in a technical field, 2–5 years experience, EPA 608 certification, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or related field with 2–5 years troubleshooting HVAC/refrigeration systems.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints and operate testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site service including start-up, preventative and remedial maintenance, and testing at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and electro-mechanical systems using schematics and testing tools.
• Perform refrigerant tasks such as leak detection, reclamation, evacuation, and charging of R410A systems.
• Diagnose HVAC electrical/control systems to restore performance and reliability.
• Document visits, repairs, and installations accurately.
• Provide technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency field support.
