Job summary

LRS Consulting Services is seeking an Automation Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity in St. Louis, MO. This role focuses on automating IT processes, reducing manual work, and supporting an enterprise imaging and endpoint environment.

You will develop PowerShell scripts, manage MDT imaging, administer KACE, collaborate with Service Desk, and provide training and documentation. This on-site role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience developing scripts and automation using PowerShell.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, Power Automate, Zapier, UiPath.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, enterprise networks, and Azure fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate processes and develop practical solutions.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability and willingness to work fully on-site five days per week.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the enterprise PC imaging process using MDT, including evaluating a next-gen imaging solution.
• Administer the KACE System Management Appliance for ticketing, inventory management, patching, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to reduce repetitive manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline IT processes through automation and process improvement.
• Collaborate with Service Desk and other IT teams to implement automation tools and solutions.
• Provide training and technical support for new tools, imaging processes, and automation solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to automation, imaging, and IT processes.
• Troubleshoot issues and analyze processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.
