Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced IT Support Representative in Thomasville, NC for a contract-to-hire arrangement. The role focuses on desktop hardware/software support, imaging, provisioning access, and scripting with PowerShell to automate processes.

You will work with ServiceNow and collaborate across IT teams to improve reliability and security. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of technical support experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Windows environments,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of technical support experience.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and warranty processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries on technical products and services including installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Provide preventative maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain system images and prepare new images for hardware rollouts.
• Perform software installation and remediation of vulnerabilities as required.
• Provide 3rd level technical support and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
