Job summary

Interface Systems is hiring an iSOC Level 3 Coordinator in Saint Louis to oversee real-time security interventions and live audio communications with monitored sites. You will escalate, verify alarms, and coordinate responses, including contacting emergency services when needed.

The role emphasizes rapid decision-making, strong communication, and authoritative interaction within a modern security operations center. Training is provided and benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide timely responses.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks/virtual tours of customer locations, observing for vulnerabilities or unusual activities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during openings, closings, or upon request.
• Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take appropriate action based on severity or instructions, including contacting emergency services.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve or escalate security and system inquiries from customers, employees, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records in the system of record (automation system).
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals, placing outbound calls to verify validity.
• Perform video verification of alarms to confirm breaches or incidents.
• Notify specified individuals of an alarm or event according to customer instructions.
• Provide life safety support by ensuring clear dispatch and alarm communication to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming, disarming, and resetting alarms/signals.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events using two-way audio systems to communicate with monitored sites.
• Use two-way audio to intervene during real-time incidents with authority and clarity.
• Handle situations such as loitering or trespassing, often requiring de-escalation and rapid decision-making.
• Document all interactions and follow up to ensure resolution of incidents.
• Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and life safety interventions.
