Job summary

Grainger is hiring a part-time On-Site Service Representative in Davenport/Clinton, IA. You will service multiple customer locations, stock products at customer sites, and maintain inventory levels to support KeepStock program.

The role involves collaborating with sales partners, following routing software, and driving customer loyalty while upholding safety standards. Requires 3 years in sales/service and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in selling or service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs and/or work in difficult positions.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations.
• Receive and stock purchased product at designated customer locations, ensure product stocking levels by scanning for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty.
• Follow designated route defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being provided.
• Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
• Probes for customer needs during each site visit and works with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.
