Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building systems, is hiring for a coordinator in Charlotte, NC. This on-site role focuses on scheduling installers and subcontractors, ensuring readiness, and maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams. You will also handle weekly payroll data entry and documentation.

The position requires a High School/GED, at least 1 year of customer service experience, and solid organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installers and subcontractors for installation jobs and ensure on-time completion.
• Make initial contact with customers within 48 hours of booking and maintain site readiness.
• Schedule technicians and vendors using scheduling software and manage follow-ups.
• Create job packets and track material delivery for each installation.
• Update the Installation Portal and coordinate closeout paperwork.
