Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Canada seeks an Office Systems Specialist to service our award-winning copiers, printers and multifunction devices. You will perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and basic installation, with travel to client sites in the Jacksonville area.

Candidates should have technical aptitude and be comfortable with Windows/Mac networking, printing workflows, and driving a personal vehicle for local travel.

Qualifications

• Electrical/mechanical aptitude required.
• Experience with printing from common business applications.
• Familiar with Windows and Mac OS networking.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Team player; works well with others.
• Understand territory parts budget and inventory control.
• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
• High School diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 2–4 years of repair/tech experience on business equipment.
• N+ or equivalent certification.
• Additional IT certifications or training are a plus.
• Background, security and drug test required.
• Vehicle required with valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and customer call assistance on KM MFP and printers; install/uninstall; configure networking and load drivers; upgrade firmware.
• Travel locally daily to client sites; manage territory workload and maintain customer communication.
• Occasionally travel outside local area for training.
• Communicate with management on issues.
• Complete training and service products; request assistance to meet customer demands.
• Maintain call handling productivity and internal metrics.
• Show progress in technical abilities and troubleshooting.
• Use company assets to access service literature and manuals.
• Maintain accurate territory inventory (ASL truck).
• Train customers on printing/scanning/copier functions.
• Complete weekly timesheets and expense reports; provide sales support as needed.
