Job summary

CHEER, INC. is seeking an ICT Technician to provide ground-level, on-site technology support across Sussex County locations. You will set up and troubleshoot hardware, manage software, and coordinate with our IT vendor to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires travel between centers, basic IT skills, and the ability to lift equipment. This full-time, hourly position offers meaningful work supporting staff and seniors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer training or relevant experience preferred.
• Familiar with Windows-based environments and Microsoft 365.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Help Desk requests and provide on-site support across CHEER locations.
• Coordinate with contracted IT provider to resolve issues promptly.
• Set up and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other equipment.
• Install software and configure new devices; perform password resets as needed.
• Maintain inventory and manage spare parts; document equipment status.
• Support AV systems for meetings and events.
• Travel between CHEER locations as required.
• Document work performed and escalate to IT vendor when needed.
• Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place and assist with upgrades.
