Job summary

Center For Family Services in Washington, NJ is seeking an IT Technician to diagnose computer problems, install software, set up new equipment, and test hardware, security, audio/video, networks and communications systems.

The role requires 2 years of experience, Windows support, basic networking, and strong communication skills. It offers a sign-on bonus, 50% travel, and full-time employment with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation; travel 50%
• 2 years' experience in computer systems and maintenance
• Experience with supporting Microsoft Windows 7-10
• Basic networking experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 support for basic issues
• Install and configure basic hardware and software components to ensure usability
• Maintain and upkeep Computers and other devices such as Tablets, Cell Phones,Scanners and Printers
• Test, diagnose, repair, reconfigure, assemble, integrate, and test basic systems
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Repair or replace damaged hardware
• Prepare, install and configuring new equipment for deployment
• Provide support to users and act as the first point of contact for issue reporting
• Provide basic technical training for end users
• Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues
• Managing technical documentation of work performed
