Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC On-Site Project Manager to lead a team of technicians on construction sites and ensure installations meet design specs, codes, and schedules. You will coordinate with engineers and general contractors, maintain safety standards, and report progress.

A high school diploma and HVAC experience with supervisory responsibilities are required; trade certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade school certification preferred; college degree a plus.
• Several years of experience in HVAC installation and repair, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and design specifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians and installers on construction sites.
• Coordinate daily tasks according to project priorities and schedules.
• Provide guidance and training to crew members to enhance skill levels and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Review project plans, budgets, and specifications to understand HVAC requirements.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including ductwork and refrigeration components.
• Communicate with clients, engineers, and project managers; submit progress reports.
