Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling seeks an HVAC Foreman-Construction to lead a team of technicians on construction sites, ensuring installations meet codes, designs, and budgets. You will coordinate daily tasks, liaise with project managers, and uphold safety standards.

This role requires a HS diploma or trade cert, several years in HVAC with supervisory experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. A valid driver’s license and HVAC/R certification are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade school certification preferred; college degree a plus.
• Several years of experience in HVAC installation and repair, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and design specifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; plus ability to meet driving requirements for company vehicles.
• HVAC/R certification or licensing as required by the state or region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians and installers on construction sites.
• Coordinate daily tasks according to project priorities and schedules.
• Provide guidance and training to crew members to enhance skill levels and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Review project plans, budgets, and specifications to understand HVAC requirements.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trade foremen to coordinate work sequences.
• Manage material inventory and ensure timely availability of supplies.
