Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based technician to start and commission HVAC and control systems at customer sites. You will diagnose and repair environmental-control equipment, communicating with customers to ensure installations meet requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities include on-site coordination, safety enforcement, and ongoing updates to installation teams. A high school diploma and 3–5 years HVAC/Controls experience are expected, with EPA knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
• Technical School or formal training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months; no major violations in past 3 years.
• DDC controls system experience and EPA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start and commission new HVAC/Controls systems.
• Diagnose and repair environmental-control systems on-site.
• Serve as direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site requirements.
• Maintain safety practices and company equipment security.
