Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site Field-based HVAC/Controls technician to install, commission, diagnose, and repair environmental-control systems at customer locations.

The role requires 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience, a valid driver’s license, and DDC controls familiarity. EPA knowledge is a plus, with strong safety focus and willingness to travel or stay overnight as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years HVAC/Controls experience
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record
• Experience with DDC controls systems; EPA knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Start and commission new systems and diagnose/repair environmental-control systems
• Serve as the direct customer contact and service products/equipment on assigned projects
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation/repairs
• Keep current on Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance and repair of direct digital control systems
• Enforce safety standards and manage assets & equipment usage
• Show flexibility to work overtime and occasional overnight stays
