Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC/Controls technician to start and commission new systems, diagnose issues, and repair environmental-control equipment at customer locations. You will serve as the direct customer contact and coordinate with team leaders to meet on-site requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC/Controls, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with handheld devices and MS Office. EPA preferred; travel and overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• HVAC/Controls experience required (3–5 years).
• On-site field service and customer interaction.
• Knowledge of direct digital control and refrigeration theory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Start and commission new systems; diagnose and repair environmental-control systems.
• Serve as primary customer contact on assigned projects; ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements and schedule on-site work.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products and direct digital control systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and protect company assets on site.
• Willing to work overtime including overnight stays when required.
