Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site Field-Based HVAC/Controls technician to start and commission systems, diagnose environmental-control equipment, and service customers at diverse commercial locations.

You will coordinate with project teams, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain safety standards while working with DDC controls and standard office tools. This role requires 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience or equivalent.
• Experience with DDC controls systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Starting and commissioning new HVAC/Controls systems on-site.
• Diagnose and repair environmental-control systems using DDC and related tech.
• Serve as direct customer contact and service equipment on projects.
• Coordinate with team lead and customer to forecast issues and gather materials.
• Maintain safety standards and asset accountability on site.
