Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC/Controls technician to start and commission new systems, diagnose and repair environmental-control systems on customer sites. You will apply knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, and refrigeration theory to ensure on-site installations meet specifications.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and typically 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience, with EPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
• EPA preferred; technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Start and commission new HVAC/control systems on site.
• Diagnose and repair environmental-control equipment at customer locations.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to define on-site requirements and schedule.
• Maintain safety standards and secure company assets during service visits.
