Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a field-based HVAC Controls Technician to start up, commission, diagnose and repair environmental-control systems at commercial sites.

You will work with direct digital control, electronics and refrigeration theory, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction, with possible overtime and overnight stays when needed. The company also offers health insurance, 401K, PTO and tuition assistance to support you and your family.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years HVAC/Controls experience.
• Technical school or formal training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record within last 3 years.
• DDC controls experience preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start up and commission new systems, diagnose and repair environmental-control systems.
• Serve as direct customer contact and service equipment on projects.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to plan on-site installation and repairs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products and DDC systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and protect company assets; accommodate overtime as needed.
