Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an on-site HSE Specialist for Westborough, MA (1st shift) to support safety, health, and environmental programs.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, incident monitoring, and collaborating with CBRE and client leadership to address hazards in robotics manufacturing and R&D settings. The ideal candidate will have a safety/EHS background, strong communication skills, and experience implementing HSE programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, health, and safety (EHS) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree OR equivalent in internships, senior projects, or capstone in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, robotics) OR EHS related subjects (i.e. water chemistry, environmental science, etc.).
• Fundamental knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety regulations is essential or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for monitoring injury, illness, and incident related performance.
• Supports development and implementation of strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as required.
• Provides health, safety and environmental regulatory compliance support and reports findings, concerns and deficiencies.
• Responds to client/customer/member concerns regarding HSE matters and will have the support of both the client and CBRE leadership teams to utilize stop work authority in alignment with Amazon and CBRE requirements of identifying unsafe acts or conditions that require hazard controls before proceeding.
• May act as an HSE subject matter resource for the facility, and other duties as assigned within the scope agreed to by CBRE HSE management and the client leadership team.
• Take proactive measures to identify potential safety hazards and environmental risks associated with robotics manufacturing and R&D activities, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
• No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
