Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an on-site Facilities Manager in Westborough, MA to lead a team responsible for daily building operations, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance.

The role focuses on coordinating repairs, managing budgets, and delivering efficient facility services for a portfolio of small to mid-sized buildings, with emphasis on leadership, vendor management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development.
• Schedule and manage team daily activities; set work schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians and vendors.
• Maintain positive client relationships; conduct meetings on unresolved issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest operational improvements.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing; review quotes for parts and labor.
• Conduct process training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
• Lead by example; align with CBRE RISE values and stakeholder objectives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
