Job summary

Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI) in Sugar Land, TX is seeking an HR & Recruiting Coordinator to support a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting operation.

You will coordinate interview schedules, manage candidate logistics, and maintain recruiting records while delivering a positive experience for candidates and hiring teams. The role requires a Bachelor's in HR/Business Admin and 1+ years in HR/recruiting, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 1+ years’ experience in HR and Recruiting or similar role.
• Experience scheduling interviews, coordinating logistics, and managing recruitment workflows.
• Proficient in MS Office applications; familiarity with ATS/CRM systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-person, virtual, and panel interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
• Manage candidate communications and scheduling updates throughout the interview process.
• Maintain and track candidate pipelines and interview stages in the ATS/CRM.
• Post and maintain job postings in ATS and job boards.
• Prepare interview materials and follow-up communications for a seamless hiring experience.
• Support general HR administrative tasks as assigned.
