Job summary

APPLIED OPTOELECTRONICS INC (AOI) in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a detail-oriented HR & Recruiting Coordinator to support a fast-paced, high-volume hiring operation. The role coordinates interview scheduling, candidate logistics, and communications, maintaining accurate recruiting records and related admin tasks.

Working closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR leadership, you will manage interview pipelines, post jobs in ATS/boards, prepare materials, and help with general HR duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• 1+ years’ experience in HR and recruiting or similar role.
• Experience scheduling interviews, coordinating logistics, and managing recruitment workflows.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience using ATS/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-person, virtual, and panel interviews with timely information and accommodations.
• Support candidate communication with scheduling updates and follow-ups.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and accurate records of interview stages.
• Post and maintain job postings in ATS and various boards.
• Prepare interview materials and follow-up communications.
• Assist with general HR administrative tasks.
