Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for its Sugar Land, TX campus. You will manage candidate screening, onboarding coordination, and interview scheduling while partnering with recruiters and HR teams.

The role requires strong communication and organization in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in recruiting or HR coordination, with experience in high-volume hiring and ATS usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR, business admin, liberal arts, or related field.
• 1+ year of recruiting/HR coordination or related experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication, professional candidate interaction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates meeting minimum qualifications.
• Conduct initial phone or virtual screenings.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate interview calendars with multiple teams.
• Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, and ATS data entry.
• Maintain candidate communications and provide timely status updates.
